The Minndak Titans were able to secure their first victory of the season against a past league rival, the Bismarck Wolves, in a 44-14 win.
On the offensive side, Trevor Taylor did a great job finding the open man connecting for five touchdown passes. Wide Reciver Tavante Gammage recorded three touchdowns with the other two being caught by Gerald (Nova) Anton Jr. And Devonrick Williams.
The ground attack was also in full force this week behind the legs of running back D’Von Vanderbilt who had two rushing touchdowns. Vanderbilt did a great job making the first defender miss and setting up his blocks down field.
Defensively, the front-seven was relentless in getting multiple sacks and tackle-for-losses. The secondary played well defending multiple passes and Larry Davis picked up an interception.
Head Coach Raven Smith: “This win was a great step for the us. We are looking forward to keep getting better and getting more victories.”
